Advantages: Beautiful Disadvantages: Have to cover up in the smouldering heat!
When I was in Egypt I stayed in Sharm and went over to Cairo for the day. Plane journey was quick and very easy. We went on a busy tour through Cairo and one of the stops was the Albaster Mosque. The Albaster Mosque was beautiful on the inside but we had to cover all of our skin apart from on our faces. As the weather was very warm I did not want to wear a great amount of attire. And for this reason to enter the mosque I was covered in a sheet that ... ...were very hot and sweaty like me. This caused a lot of discomfort to me. Other people that went on the tour with me carried trousers around with them all day long. The toilets were dreadful, a whole in the ground and because there plumbing skills aren't great they have to through the tissue they have used in a toilet, on top of that having to carry a pair of trousers while attempting to squat over a whole in the ground.

Let's just say, you could not make a day of visiting the Albaster Mosque. You would have to do a tour of then Pyramids or many other Mosques around. Lots of people trying to sell you things on the way. Trying to buy your daughters for 1000 camels!

The Alabaster Mosque or Mohamed Ali Mosque is one of the famous mosques in Egypt it's located inside the Citadel of Salahdin which built by Alnaser Salah AlDin to protect and defend Egypt against the Crossers Attacks in the middle ages, the Mosque is looking very beautiful inside and well decorated, this mosque has been built by Mohamed Ali, an Albanian Solider who was came to Egypt with the Ottoman Army, and step by step he became the ruler of Egypt ... ...he make Egypt on of the strongest countries in the area, and built up a modern country and many factories, strong army....etc., and this mosque was one of his establishments he built it in front of AlJawhara Palace where he was staying, the mosque has been designed and established on the same way like the blue mosque in Istanbul, the mosque is designed in Islamic art way, for ladies who want to visit this mosque or any other mosque they have to have ...
