After weighing up the pro's and con's of staying in such a room (we thought at £59 per night it would resemble a Travelodge) we decided upon the Fountain Room at £79 per person per night. The main reasoning was that all Fountain rooms have a view of the 30-acre Bellagio fountains, which after ...

Advantages: Everything is fabulous Disadvantages: Nothing...
"The 34-acre Aladdin surrounds you with affordable opulence, its spacious accommodations complete with private soaking tubs, marble bathrooms, and a host of other amenities. With its live entertainment, Elemis Spa, non-stop gaming, and private rooftop pools, the Aladdin is sure to grant all your wishes"
Well it certainly lives up to its expectations if you read the 'official blurb' about the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas.
I was lucky enough to spend ... ...and I stayed in The Aladdin hotel.
The hotel itself is pretty much central to the famous Las Vegas boulevard strip and is surrounded by a lot of other famous hotels. The Paris is just next-door with the Bellagio being across the road to name a few.
The wow factor and 'ohmygodlookatthatandthis' had already set in with me as me were coming into land at Las Vegas, so upon arrival at the hotel my jaw dropped further to the floor. As you drive into ...

Advantages: The BEST buffet in town, location (opposite the Bellagio fountains), great views from the rooms which over look the strip, great shows take place on site. Disadvantages: Cold pools compared to heat (some may like this?!)
...spent the day in the Aladdin casino. The pools are very cold compared to the heat outside, which some may like, but i found that i was constantly jumping from the sun bed to the pool to try and get out of the heat and or coldness. The pool is also the only one i found in Vegas that did not check Hotel client's keys on entry so anyone could use the pool, whereas most other hotels would not even allow you to look at their pools without showing a key. ... ...have expected for the size of the hotel and we had to lay away from the pool when we sunbathed and burnt our feet while running from our seats to the pool as the floor was so hot.
The location is amazing, it is right opposite the Bellagio fountains and right in the centre of the strip. We were upgraded and the room we had was very large and overlooked the strip. There were about 40 floors to the hotel and a north and south wing so getting lost at ...

Advantages: Rooms, location, staff, BUFFET!!! Disadvantages: Major renovation going on, pools not themed.
...is loads to do, The Aladdin is opposite the Bellagio, and we have fountain views the last time we stayed which was pretty amazing! The casino floor is full of all types of machines and is a great place to spend a few Cent (or more)! The renovation going on is to transform the casino from the Aladdin to a Planet Hollywood resort only slightly hinders the guests and some of the lifts etc are closed so you have to walk the long way round, but I believe ... ...HAVE to go to the Aladdin buffet. It wins awards year in, year out and caters for everyone. There is everything from a traditional roast through to Sushi and Greek Kebabs! And there is even candyfloss for dessert!
(If you travel with kids then I would recommend the Excalibur!)
Overall this hotel is a great place to stay and I would recommend it to everyone! ...
