5 star...I don't think Advantages: the maids Disadvantages: everything ...you.I would not reccomend this hotel to brits especially.supposed to be all inclusive, yet again very dissapointed.Had to pay for orange juice with breakfast, couldn't have water, had to pay for it, which uyou have to buy in the hotel shop and costs double the price of the water in town.The food menu was the same day in day out.TOMATO SOUP!!!! nice, but after two days it gets unbearable, as it's quite spicy, along with the rest of the very limited ... ...small straight glass which is a 1/4 full....u need to order 4 drinks to maybe make up 1 drink.The best asset to this hotel are the maids, they were very friendly and helpful...thank goodness!!! An Amazing Hotel!! Advantages: Friendly staff, great weather, lovely hotel, okay food Disadvantages: the entertainment is mainly focused on children ...a 2 week visit to Club Mermaid Village Aparthotel with my family (I visited there in August). When I got back I was really sad to be back as I had such a great time there! Club Mermaid Village Aparthotel is a 4 star, all inclusive aparthotel near Alanya. It is quite secluded but I found that this wasn't an issue as I liked the hotel and people there so much! There are two blocks. One is the hotel with 5 levels of rooms, a basement and a lobby. And ... ...rooms and 2 story apartments. When we first arrived we were shocked by the lack of English, but gradually more English came and then on our second week it was mainly English. Rooms I stayed on level 4 of the hotel block. The room was 1 room which had a double bed, a single bed and a single camp bed, and a bathroom which had a shower/bath. The room also had a television, a phone which allowed you to contact reception, a safe (extra charge), ... Not a bad hotel, too many Russians. Advantages: Hotel activities, restaurants outside the hotel. Disadvantages: Russians, hotel restaurant. First impressions, this is not a 4 start hotel as marketed. When you enter the hotel, it appears quite basic. The reception staff were limited in their english and not particularly helpful when we arrived for check-in. They had not recieved or lost some of our papers (they said vouchers?!?) and so we were delayed somewhat, but were then taken to our room by the bell-boy. The rooms are reasonable, again basic, but clean. They have a small en-suite ... ...rest of the room. The tiny television doesn't show english programmes however! The food leaves something to be desired. If you dont like Russians then I highly recommend not going! They run (literally run) to the restaurant and finish most of the food within the first half hour! This is for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This makes queing for meals very tedious.
