Albani Hotel, Rome

Advantages: Location, clean and good value fo money
Disadvantages: caters more for an older clientel

...Stayed to this hotel for weekend during the summr. I booked it on the internet. It was a last minute decision. I found the hotel had all the facilities I required. The room was small but clean and conforable. The decor was ok. The room had tea/coffee making facilities. A clean shower, plenty of towels. The TV was abit basic but you could watch all the basic channels. The restaurant was open and inviting. The food good if a little basic. The bar area was fine and the bar snacks ok. I found the place had entertainment a singer but I returned back too late to hear him. When I went it was a quiet weekend I think as everyone seemed to have gone to bed by 11:00pm. I did nottice at breakfast this hotel semed very popular with an elder clientel. Breakfast was a help yourself affair. The staff were all very helpful and accomodating... Read review

I do hope this review is helpful and would appreciate a rating at the end. Well then lets get started. *********COST********** This is always my favourite place to start !!!! Well this hotel is in my opinion an average cost for a 3* hotel inRome at about £105 per room per night including breakfast. I know you can definately get cheaper priced hotels but I was happy with this cost for what you get (all will be revealed). *************LOCATION************ I have to say that the Hotel Impero is in a super location, in a lovely leafy area. Advantages: Central, cheap, clean,

...Recently, me and my girlfriend visited Rome. As we were only in Rome for 4 nights we wanted somewhere central so we could see all the sights and do all the touristy bits. We eventually decided on Valle hotel and we are glad we did. ::: Why the Valle Hotel? ::: There are a number of reasons why we chose Valle. The first was that it was central, about 5minutes walk from the main train station (Stazione Termini) from there you can catch a bus to anywhere in the city, or get the metro or a train to other local towns or further afield if you wish. ::: The Hotel::: It is a relatively small hotel with only 40 rooms. There is a welcoming foyer, with a reception desk manned 24/7. There is also a little bar. The rooms are fairly modern, comfortable and very pleasant. All rooms are en-suite.
