Advantages: Fantastic Display Disadvantages: Bit hot and stuffy!
...Me and my girlfriend took a trip on Wednesday to Syon Park (based in Brentford, Middlesex) and decided to pay a visit to the London Butterfly House which is on the grounds of Syon Park close to the car park.
It cost us £5.25 each to get in which I dont think is bad at all! and they give you a ticket which is valid for the whole day so you can come and go as many times as you like for the day.
I wasn't sure what to expect but was amazed upon entry, It seemed sort of like a bird avary, and looked like a little jungle. There were small bridges with little streams running beneath and had several little twist's and turns leading to different area's. As we walked in the butterfly were flying everywhere, hundred's maybe even thousands it truely looked like a mini rainforest.
The colours of the butterfly were vibrant and the species...

Advantages: Good value, immaculate, 4 Star Disadvantages: Language problems
...I stayed at the Melia White House hotel in June 2008, on my first trip to London. Finding our way from Heathrow T5 to the hotel, negotiating the underground, was surprisingly easy, as the hotel is situated within 5 minutes walk of Great Portland St underground station, just outside leafy Regents Park. Warren St and Regents Park underground stations are also within 10 minutes walk in either direction.
The hotel may not look a lot from the exterior, however step inside and the reception is bright, airy and spacious. The reception area is immaculate and covered in marble, and expensive looking antiques.
The hotel has 581 rooms over 8 floors (283 Classic rooms, 158 Superior rooms, 28 Triple rooms, 62 Executive Level rooms, 42 Junior Suites, 2 Master Suites, 1 Residential Suite and 5 Disabled rooms).
We were booked into a Classic...

Advantages: Excellent decor, great Regents Park location - within 2 mins walk of 2 tube stations Disadvantages: 4 star decor not matched by corresponding room size
...Last weekend we stayed at the 4 star Sol Melia White House in Regents Park, London after placing a winning bid of 74 pounds on the Priceline UK website (came to 91 pounds after taxes). Located in the deepest northern reaches of Priceline's Bloomsbury area of London it was further than we would have chosen from the center but this turned out not to be an issue.
The Melia White House is easy to find and very well connected. it is located 2 minutes walk from Regents Park tube station which is perfect for going west/east along the top of the circle line (e.g. if you're going to be travelling in/out of Paddington where the Heathrow express arrives in London, or Euston). Nearer still is Great Portland Street tube which is perfectly located on the Bakerloo line - this puts it one stop from Oxford Circus, otherwise known as the center...
