It has a large window right in the middle of the high ceiling, so it is always very bright and airy.
The bar is festooned in all sorts of antique memorabilia, from old whiskey bottles and casks, copper serving jugs for ale, and a delightful “His Master’s Voice” type wind up gramophone.

Advantages: Central, beautiful building and grounds Disadvantages: None
...This Bed & Breakfast is located in Clydesdale, Pretoria. It is close and convenient to the City, Hatfield (restaurant and bar area), Loftus sports stadium, Universities and schools. Many of these can be reached on foot within a few minutes.

We were simply told that when returning to the B&B to come through the back door and then enter the key code given.
On returning from an evening out we found ourselves locked out! After half an hour knocking on the door in the freezing cold we were finally let in by a grumpy owner to be told we were late!
Had we known this was a B&B with values stolen from the dark ages we would have booked elswhere!
The owners were unapologetic, argumentative and adament that this was our own fault. How silly of us to book a room and expect to access it whenever we wanted! Lovely pub but B&B run by amateurs....
