Although it looks a bit run down and has lost is past grandeur, there is basically nothing wrong with this comfortable, UK/owned hotel. The English speaking staff is extremely friendly and helpful, rooms are very spacious and all have a balcony. There is a video room, the pool is good and the hotel is conveniently located in the centre. The kitchen is good and safe. Trips to Petra, Wadi Rum and to less frequented Bedouin camps can be arranged. Divers will be interested to know that the hotel is liaised to the Murjan club, where the well managed Padi Sea Star Divers are based.
