Rue mazzarine, métro Odéon (line 4), in the heart of the nice Saint Germain district, the owner of this restaurant has changed few time and now it belongs to Sir Terence Conran ...it's the same person that have the stores Conran shop.. In France, mister Conran is a little bit less well known ...

If you knew this chain of store, you will be not surprise to see a design decor in this restaurant.... Eveything here is uncluttered, and hamonous.. not too much, but it's very class

The service in this restaurants is very good, and kind.. Every one take good care of your person. Nothing to criticise..

The place is very clean... My mother in law usually says that you can put your trust in the cleanness of the toilets to guess if a place is a good place or not.. And it's true..
if the toilets are clean in a restaurant, so you can eat "clean".
In France, its a good clue to measure to quality of the restaurant :-)

This restaurant is divided in 2 parts, the main room and a mezzanine
Some one would prefer to dinner in the main room but I prefer to go upstair and eat on a comfortable sofa...
upstair, for dinner or have a drink you are sit on big and comfortable sofa and eat on coffee table...
Of course, in the mezzanine, the menu is not the same than the main room. And there are less course on this menu.
For 25 euros, you have a course and a glass of wine. It's not expensive for this quality of the food.. It's a really pleasure in your mouth ..
The music and the mood is good, and do evrything to charm you..
Some nights, there is a DJ that mix upstair..
Contrary to another select places in paris, here, the service is very nice. they don't make a judgement on your clothes style, the way you are dressed.. the service is the same..
It's a really good place to discover...

If you want to extend your night, no soucy.. Go out of this restaurant, next to it, a little door hide the wagg a very nice and cool night club

On Sunday, the mezzanine is closed.. but come and taste the gorgous brunch in the main room...
There is a big bay window on the kitchen where you can see the cook preparing your meal..
For 28 euros, you have fresh baked bread, home made ham fresh orange juice and a hot beverage.. Try the "Chocolat chaud" You can eat as much as you can.. oh i forgot the marvelous fresh baked rasberry muffin...
At that You can choose the main course.. The tartar steack with its salad and home made french fried is a delight..
or the scramble eggs with its smoked salmon, caesar Salad..
Anything course is a delight.....
talking about these course make me hunger ..:-)

the desserts is evenly fantastic ... try the "moelleux au chocolat" it 's a hot chocolat cake with a vanilla ice cream ...

Bon appétit...

It's not hard to guess that it's my favourite place for the sunday brunch...

If you think that i miss some thing or if you need any other information, tell me and i will update this review...
