Hey, my names Stuart and im from Scotland, im new to Ciao and i hope i enjoy it here! I hope my opinions are useful though it might take a while to get good at them!
This 4 star PLUS hotel is stituated in Koskinou, the north east of Rhodes. This is a modern complex with a Marque of Excellence, which is suitable from couples to families with small children and to families with teenagers.Travelled there only once, my family and I have decided to return to this hotel because of the standard of the hotel and the facilities. Its based in a small town with a few bars and restaurants around 500m away and 6km away from the capital, Rhodes Town. Right on the beach, this hotel has access to water sports and sunloungers. With an evening and daytime entertainment
programme you will never get bored at the Paradise Royal Mare.
Koskinou is a nice little town but with every little shops. We did not do alot of exploring in the town so theres not alot to say about it. However, there are a nice few bars close to the hotel but if you are wanting a good night out, its best to stick in the hotel. The great thing about the location of this hotel is that with the extreme heat theres a nice coastal breeze that cools you down.
With the Aldemare Paradise Royal Village (Self-Catering apartments) dotted around the main building, its extremly busy during the summer. Since there is so many people, your bound to meet poeple your own age which is perfect for the kids, (We met our cousin).
First Look As you enter the hotel there is a huge lounge with mayn comfy' seats (rather posh looking), which is right next to the 24/7 reception. With extremly kind staff, (Which offered us the Presidential Suite with out extra-charge) they are always happy to help, what ever the time. You then come across a few of the hotels shops which then leads onto the 2 lifts and stair case which access's each floor (There are 5 floors with 587 rooms).
Rooms As you enter your room, theres up to 4 beds. Each room as air conditioning, Satelite TV, direct-dialtelephone, hairdryer, with a full bathroom and a balcony or terrace. Theres availablity of either a sea view or garden view. The cleaners come once a day and leave your room 'Monica clean' (From TV show - Friends).Theres 24/7 room service incase you ever need anything.
Facilities The hotel has many features with several bars to keep you happy in what ever mood, these include; Seven swimming pools (Two of which are salt-water), terraces, sunloungers, indoor heated pool, pool bar, main restaurant, pool restaurant, beach restaurant, beach grill house, cocktail bar, lobby bar, two lounges, TV room, reception with money exhcange, mini-market and gift shops.
Activities With a fantasic rang of activities theres always something to do, these include; Tennis courts, mini-golf, table-tennis, pool table, water slide. Daily entertainment programme includes aerobic, waterpolo, volleyball, darts. Regular evening entertainment includes, live music, piano bar and a nightclub/disco
For children Two paddling pools, playground, mini-club, highchairs, childrens buffet
Food The food at the Royal Paradise Mare is the best food in a hotel i have been too. With a great selection at the buffet theres always something for everybodys tastes. From pancakes - yogurt - cereal at breakfast to pizza - chicken - seafood at dinner. With Italien and Greek theme nights you get a taste of the Meditarian.
Highlights I will now mention the highlights of my holiday which made it the best holiday yet! The hotels own mini-market lets you buy products at cheap newsagents price not at over-priced hotel rates. The swimming pool and sunloungers let you relax and lay in the sun then go for a refreshing dip in the cool swimming pool. The childrens disco let the young kids dance and have a great time at night as later you will go to the night club and enjoy a drink and meet people. The food was superb with plenty of tables which exclude waiting and queueing. Piano bar lets you relax after a hard day of playing tennis in the suns heat. With so many things i enjoyed doing at the Paradise Royal Mare im extremely happy to visit them once more.
Downsides Even though the hotel is practicly perfect, keep an eye on the children as its easy to get selt cigarettes and alcohol, but yet that never spoiled my holiday.
Why should you visit? With so many things to do this is definutly a big hit. With the cool breeze and the beating suns heat youl will feel like your in heven. With the prices not too expensive means that its an affordable and enjoyable holiday for all. For the latest prices visit your local travel agents.

Welcome Stuart - This was helpful as far as it went (although I found your spelling made it slightly difficult to figure out what you were trying to say in places - for instance - I decided you really meant that they might be cigarettes and alcohol even though they were under-age - This is an area where my dyslexia interferes with understanding as I get distracted. - I also would have liked to see a bit more flow in the information - and maybe a bit more description of your night out, or your meeting up with your cousin - we like a story - we like to feel included . . . - .................................................................................................... ~ ♥ ~ jes ≈≈≈≈{; -)-{{::::: |||||< ♥♥
