Advantages: fun and comfortable accomodation Disadvantages: none!
Can completely recommend this hotel. Couple in our 20's stayed in september 07 for 2 weeks and had the best time. The hotel facilites were great, bar and the staff fantastic, surrounding area was pretty good too.
Rooms were very basic, not all of them had air conditioning although we were offered the opportunity to upgrade to better rooms. Rooms were cleaned 6 days out of 7. There wasn't a kettle or fridge in the room we had but i think they had them in the upgraded rooms. Food was excellent- good choice every day. Staff spoke excellent English as the brothers are from Australia. The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss, most people went out so they didn;t really bother but we had a great time at the weekly barbecue having shots with the barman and dancing like fools! The square with some nice bars is only a short walk away so if ...
Advantages: fantastic staff, lovely hotel Disadvantages: ants in the bathroom
Cyprus was'nt my 1st choice for a hoiday this year, but Ruth my partners sister telephoned us in August 2004 to say she was getting married abroad in July 2005, and would we like to attend. So on to my trusted PC, entered the name of the hotel in too a search engine and walla - a few moments later we was booked all inclusive in to the Anastasia BeachHotel.
After negotiating Larnaca airport, we located our taxis for the transfer and off we went through barren countryside along a stretch of road that was apparently a Motorway, two lanes and a speed restriction of 100km an hour. We turned off the motorway and past some appartments which ...
WHY SRI LANKA YOU ASK?
J & I had been to Sri Lanka for a holiday when we first started seeing each other. We had booked a last minute deal & stayed in a guest house . Whilst there we spent our days at the 5* Bentota Beachhotel using the pool & bar, for a small fee of £2 you can go to any hotel & use their facilities. This is a nice way of checking out the other hotels & generally being nosey. We fell in love with the place & decided then that if we went back we would stay at the hotel. One of the main things that had swung it for me was the resident elephant who was also part of the wedding ceremony.
Sri Lanka or Ceylon as it was once known is an Island off the southern tip of India in the Indian Ocean .It is a ten & three quarter hour journey if flying direct. There are sometimes stopovers in the Maldives which is a wonderful place ...
