Advantages: A wonderful luxurious break Disadvantages: Staff could be a bit more personal
...the Plurabelle Brassiere – which l cannot comment on as we went out to eat in Dublin (l lovely Thai which is another opinion!). We did however have a drink in the AlfieByrne Bar (lve no idea who he is but he must have been popular cos there’s a road in Dublin named after him! Maybe The Mad Cabbie could help out!). The bar was busy enough – well it was a Saturday evening in June, l had a JD and Coke and Paul vodka and coke – usual hotel prices – not much change out of 15 euro! The bar was ok, bland is a word ld use, not much atmosphere. There was a band playing popular hits, but l don’t remember much about them so obviously not that great!
Fitness Suite
It was my birthday weekend – l went nowhere near the gym! There’s a small gym – fully equipped but cramped – Paul took a look and said it was small – that’s the only reason l know! There isn...

Advantages: Great day out Disadvantages: none that I can think of, except maybe check opening times before you arrive
...Summer is the best time in Dublin and the summer season begins on June 16th - Blooms Day. Blooms Day commemorates the fictional protagonist of James Joyce's greatest story, Ulysses. Ulysses, according to Joyce, "is a little story of two nations as well as the story of a day." In fact, it is much more. Advantages: Capital. loads to do and see Disadvantages: Can be busy
...Dublin, the capital of class. The cave of the Celtic tiger is a worthy capital city, in the continental style with character and charm coming out of its ears.
Dublin a place of many faces, which you can never hope to see in a weekend. From a foundation by the Vikings to the present days, Dublin has continued to capture the imagination of visitors, captivating them with the mystery.
There is so much to do and see in Dublin I don't know where to start. For the weekend visitors the Temple Bar and grafton street are a must visit. However the art of enjoying Dublin is to do what the Irish people do.
We are known as a relaxed people so follow our lead. Stop in a pub every once in a while and be drawn into the craic, enjoy a pint of the black stuff. Don't rush anwhere, meander the narrow streets in order to find the real heart of Dublin...

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last few years. Its quite a way outside the main Temple-Bar area but is right by the tram stops. As the trams run very regularily getting about is easy.
The hotel is very close to Houston rail station. If you more
