Alicante at Night:
•••••••••••••••••
Alicante is defintely a nocturnal city , a bit like me I guess ....... Its mild inviting climate is one of the reasons why Alicante City is buzzing at nights and more so in the summer months. There are many places to drink , eat & party , all of which continue into the early hours of the morning. There is an area of Alicante called " El Barrio" , it is the old part of the city and here you will find lots of cafes & taverns , each with its own unique style & personality ..... A variety of venues also offer live music such as salsa , sevillanas , jazz etc.......

...The costa blanca is more than just Benidorm. When people get off the plane at Alicante most head for Benidorm. But Alicante has much to offer as a holiday destination. Alicante has 6 sandy beaches in all. hotels from 5 star to 1 star and cheap pensions. Also apartments near the beaches. Average temp 64f and 2,800 hours of annual sunshine. also 3 museums, a casino, 2 castles, many parks and gardens,a yacht marina and sports fields. If you like to shop theres large department stores, street markets twice a week, a large fruit and fish market in the centre of town. So as a holiday destination Alicante is a city and a seaside resort all in one....

Advantages: Location, price, rooms Disadvantages: some rooms don't have good views, noise at night

This hotel is in a very central place, quite possible one of the best locations if you want to see the city. It is situated in the old town, close to the Castillio Santa Barbara (the main castle), The port, Cathedral. Church of Santa Maria, town hall and museums. Its also about a 2 minute walk away from the beach, Playa de Postiguet. Generally, the location is very good, but there are a couple of draw backs. Firstly, the distance from the train station if you're planning on visiting the local area. It will take about 20 minutes to walk there, however, you can easily catch a bus. Secondly, the noise. Now generally in Alicante, no matter what hotel you stay in you...
