Advantages: 30 minutes from Faro Airport, great facilities, excellant golf, fantastic for the kids and grandparents
Disadvantages: If you don't like sun, sea, seafood or golf don't bother going

The Sheraton is a great place to stay if your family ranges in age from 8 weeks to 80 years. I have been there four times and each time it gets better and better. The facilities are fantastic and my husband loves the golfing facilities. The child care is amazing and I had no problem leaving my two boys at Porto Pirata for a few hours while I enjoyed the spa facilities. Apartment smelled of drains

Advantages: Nice pool, pleasanr helpful staff, appartment very clean
Disadvantages: Bathroom stunk of drains, kitchen antiquated, no kettle, toaster or hairdryer

Vila Alba Apartments, Albufeira, Portugal

Advantages: Fairly quiet area, good location, family friendly, rooms in good condition
Disadvantages: Quality of kitchen facilities could have been better

Aparthotel Paladim

The Apart-hotel Paladim in Albufeira is possibly the best hotel i have been to! It is set nicely between the strip and the old town. The hotel is right next to a large supermarket which sells everything! The old town is very pleasing to one's eye and is also lively! Perola Do Algarve - Albufeira

Advantages: Central location between old town and the strip, quiet, room was a nice size,

First things first: After booking through Lastminute.com I found some reviews on trip advisor which were quite negative and made me worry, however, being an open minded person I choose to stay postive.
