...I think that new york is a wonderful place to be it has so much to offer, and it is so cheap compared to this country and the equvalent things in London.
It is so clean compared to the streets here,I want to live in New York one day,the fast food places though are always very busy and hectic, unlike here, but they are plenty around. The shops in New York are really good, there is a big macys which offers everything then there is all the other stores and they are definately much cheaper than here!
I would recommend anyone to go there even ifjust for a shopping weekend....

Advantages: Lots to do Disadvantages: Care must be taken when walking the streets, especially at night
...In the words of the late, great Frank Sinatra, New York is so good that they named it twice. This place is the ultimate travel destination worrldwide in my opinion. From my personal experience, the typical image of dirty, tramp-ridden streets where drug abuse is commonplace is rarely the case. The list of things to do is extensive to say the least. When I went, I made a list of the things that I would like to see and do. I think it came to about 52 items, and I have no interest in The Arts which NYC is world-renound for. The food is excellent and of relatively good value for a big city. However, I found the accomodation very expensive although it was of a superb quality....

Advantages: Go and laugh at these mad traders Disadvantages: You won't come away any more aware of what these people are doing
...Go to Wall Street and you can get a guided tour of the New York Stock Exchange, including looking at the floor from a viewing gallery above. This can be a somewhat humorous experience - bear in mind that many stock exchanges have now been computerised, and the image of people running around looking at prices, checking dockets, nattering on their mobile phone and screaming ‘Sell sell sell’ is rather anachronistic. Nevertheless, it is a really interesting experience - though I for one did not come away with any more comprehension of the bizarre goings-on, or how it all works....
