The good thing with chain bars is that you always know what you're going to get. With All Bar One that usually means enormous spaces, a look that's modern without being aggressively so, long and well-stocked bars, and big wooden tables with gold numbers on (so the waiters and waitresses know where to bring your food).
It's fine if you want to drink somewhere that you can sit down and have a conversation with your friends - there are always enough seats in somewhere so big, and I often come here if I want coffee and a quick drink. The hot chocolate is delicious, by the way - served in a big cup like the ones in the coffee house from Friends, made with good quality chocolate and just the right temperature.
The main problem is eating or drinking in somewhere so anonymous, impersonal and overpriced. I prefer going to more intimate places with more character, and sitting on velvet banquettes or squashy leather sofas rather than indentikit wooden chairs in a cavernous, characterless room, but this is just a matter of taste. There are always sofas at All Bar Ones, actually, and it's wonderful if you manage to grab a couple to share with your friends - unfortunately they tend to be claimed by the first people to arrive, who will then settle down with their drinks and refuse to leave for the rest of the evening.
The food is okay, especially the hot baguettes, but it can sometimes be a little greasy or carelessly prepared. I remember a very oily shared platter there, and a disgusting chicken and bacon sandwich dripping with cheap mayonnaise - for nearly five pounds I would have expected something slighly nicer. The service is very impersonal. You can't ask for for slight changes to items of food (even Burger King will serve you something without the mayonnaise or ketchup if you ask). Waiters and waitresses are polite without being friendly.
All Bar one is an excellent bar with a great attitude and is always crouded. They are a chain with numerous bars around the capital. The one in Leicester Square is probably the best known because of location. The door policy can become strict towards the end of the evening, groups of guys not being popular and if you are too drunk you wont get in. The clintelle are all good and tend to be friendly. Music plays in the background and is just the right ... ...wooden benches tend to be one of the main seating choices available. They serve food as well and in the daytime coffee and tea with daily newspapers. Some locations provide bar games. The best drink is the Cheque (?) beer known as Staropramen, its 5.5% and is delicous, dear too! ...

Advantages: Relaxing and informal Disadvantages: Drinks a bit pricey
...One’. The bars are all very similar - wooden tables and chairs and a few have nice big comfy sofas which you can sink into. The atmosphere is generally relaxed but some of the busier bars in Leicester Square can get rather busy. The variety of wines and bottled drinks is vast and they serve a reasonable amount of beers on draught. The food is excellent and well priced - my favourite is ham egg and chips but the tiger prawns are also very yummy. A ...

Review of All Bar One (London)
Advantages: great to chill out at in the afternoons Disadvantages: none
...simply love the food at All Bar One. I've been to the branch at London Bridge twice already and I've had a fantastic time on both occassions. The first time I was at All Bar One, I had some sort of bangers and mash without the bangers that came with a really tasty whipped potato that has oyster mushrooms in it. The gravvy served with the dish made it less dry and bland than it would have been and it had my favourite vegetables - asparagus - on top ... ...is somewhat close to fantastic, All Bar One tends to get a little nosier and rowdier in the evenings and that has only its popularity and pervasive brit culture of clubs and bars to blame. I'm not too keen on crowds at times and I do find it annoying to have to yell at the person in front of you when you are trying to have a decent conversation. However, if you are someone who likes a comfortable atmosphere with loads of decor in wood and you do ...

Hampstead All Bar One, is one of the most relaxed, best atmosphere bars I know. We always go in there when we fancy a hassle free night out. It is never busy but for some reason it just enhances the ambiance, - chilled -. I don't know it's somewhere I would go on the look out for men, as I have never seen any attracive types there. But definitely somewhere for a first date.
go there relax, chill out and enjoy!!
It couldn't be much different than ...

Advantages: It keeps the city types in one place Disadvantages: Over priced and over hyped
Would you like this bar? Well, why don't you zoom through the checklist below and see if you are compatible with the "All Bar One" philosophy:
1. You like your beer expensive - I don't mean that you like good, expensive beer, I mean that you would quite happily kiss goodbye to a £20 note for a round of five pints of lager.
2. You wear "eighties stockbroker type" colourful shirts and co-ordinated ties and always think cuff-links are essential (if ... ...strappy tops, and frown when some-one squeezes past you to go to the bar in case your white cardi gets a lager stain (if female).
4. You go to a bar to be seen, to be loud, and to talk on your mobile whilst balancing a pint, a glass of wine, your cigarette packet and your jacket; at the same time you are being shoved from every direction because the place is too crowded.
I guess you can see my bias, but there you go, it's my opinion! ...

Advantages: Great food and atmosphere. Disadvantages: Parking for cars and possibly have to queue to get in.
Location and History.
The Hard Rock Cafe in London is situated at Hyde Park Corner. It was formerly a Rolls Royce dealership. 150 Old Park Lane to be precise.
This is the original Hard Rock Cafe, there are now hard rocks all over the world. I have been in this one and also the one in Dublin. 138 in total. They now also have a hotel chain too.
The are all basically the same with artefacts of rock stars past and present adorning the walls and floors.
The centre piece of the Londonone is a Harley Davidson motorcycle downstairs behind the bar.
I always go to the downstairs bar as im a life memberof HOG (Harley Owners Group) this gives you a kind of VIP status as you never normally have to queue to get in.
The owner normally has his Harley parked outside by the entrance adorned in Hard Rock paintwork.
Recently the cafe has ...
Advantages: Unbelievably luxurious Disadvantages: Probably won't be able to tolerate a 2 star hotel again
room service, spa treatments are available 24 hours a day although you will probably need to pre-book your deep tissue massage if you want it at 3.30am.
The Metropolitan offers a 24-hour room service with an extensive menu of yummy sounding food and costly drink (Cristal Rose champagne at £1000 a bottle anyone?). Remember that room service attracts a service charge although Reception are quite happy to remove these at check-out.
The Met Bar downstairs is one of London's hottest nightspots and attracts all kinds of celebrities. This does mean that the hotel may attract trendy hangers-on although we were fortunate to avoid both. All guests at the Metropolitan get access to the Bar.
The Nobu restaurant is often booked up months in advance although I have heard of people wangling tables through the Concierge. Co-owned by Robert De ...

If you live in London and know the scene at all chances are you?ll be very familiar with Ku Bar. Ku Bar is one of the best known gay bars in London and it?s definitely my favourite bar. Although I must admit that I am not an expert on London gay bars having only been to a few on Old Compton Street (Soho) as well as Ku Bar and some of them were on an infamous gay bar crawl I ended up doing with a friend in December so I have to confess that my memory is a tad hazy.
Ku Bar definitely seems to attract a young crowd with the typical clientele (posh word!) seeming to be in the 16-30 age bracket. There seems to be no shortage of people there my age (I?m 16?no I mean er 18!)
The music played is always pop ? Kylie, Britney, Christina, Madonna, etc. There?s a jukebox though don?t expect to be able to select anything non-pop!
The bar is ...
