After reading the lovely comical novel Size Matters, I decided to see if there were any other Judy Astley books in our local library and found a couple including this one.
Judy Astley has written many novels dating back to 1994 but she started out by writing a picture book for children called When One Cat Woke Up. Size Matters was published in 2004 so has been on our shelves for a couple of years and it does make me wonder why I haven't noticed it around these parts before.

Allinclusive is about a couple in their forties who have been going to the same holiday spot for years. They have their routine well and truly set up. There is a group of couples who meet up every year without prior arrangement, it just seems to happen, and they all have a good two weeks basking in the Caribbean sun.

From a personal point of view, if I am going abroad it is to sample another country's culture and food, meet the local people and explore the sites, so the idea of being in a large hotel complex for two weeks has never appealled to me, but I can see that for families, it may seem an economical option.
