CASA FRANCI BED BREAKFAST IN ROME

Advantages: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
Disadvantages: Not Hotel for the softies out there.

and the Apartment is on the 3rd floor, there was no problem obtaining entrance, they quickly answered the intercom, and were waiting by the lift when we emerged., There is a entrance hall with the rooms opening off the central corridor. They had three rooms for Guests, all doubles but they can get an extra bed in for children. The best option is one of the two rooms that are at the front, they have a balcony where you can have your breakfast served with a view down the road of St Peters. Both these rooms have excellent showers on-suite and also wardrobes. Comfortable beds. With nice lace trimmed linen. The room at the back (we had this one) has comfortable bed, but just a Rail for your clothes. A small balcony that looks into the central courtyard which is surrounded by apartments, and also views of the railway line. The view ...

Fruit pie for breakfast? Yes, if you stay at Tuure B and B!

Advantages: A reasonable price for Finland, great breakfast, very clean and comfortable
Disadvantages: Rooms are quite small, lack of parking spaces may be a problem for some

This bed and breakfast is situated close to the bus station and just five minutes walk from the very centre of town. We arrived in Turku by train and walked the route in ten minutes so the location is good yet still quiet. Look hard, it's not easy to spot. The doorway looks like all the doorways on the block which is full of shops and offices. There is an entry buzzer to let you in; once you check in you'll have a key for this door. The B and B is up a couple of flights and there's no lift. It's not too bad but people with mobility problems should be aware of this. We hadn't booked in advance but there was a room available. We were checked in without fuss and while the owner wasn't effusive she was friendly enough. The bedrooms are off the main corridor as are the shared shower rooms. This does mean a certain amount of noise as ...

Review of Bed and Breakfast Tuure, Turku

FRIENDLY, INFORMAL and QUIET BED & BREAKFAST

Advantages: You are given your own front door's keys so you can come and go as you please.
Disadvantages: You will need to share the bathroom with the other room.

I stayed at this bed & breakfast in May 2009 and found it easygoing, friendly and comfortable. It is a very informal & quiet place; the best way to describe it is by saying that the rooms look like you are staying at your best (girl)friend's house for the week end (basically, it has a very homely feeling). It is ideal if you are visiting York for 2-3 days or for a quite week end there. £30 per person, per night. The owner can arrange for all sorts of breakfasts (special diets, etc) and she will cook them in the kitchen in front of your eyes while you sit at the table. It is about 10 min walk from the city centre and from the train station. ...
