...To start with I must apologise, I seem to have written a novel. We have very recently returned from our summer holiday. This year we thought we would try Turkey as we have never been there before. After looking through the brochures we settled on a hotel at Lara Beach, Antalya. This hotel was called the Titanic De-Luxe Beach and Resort Hotel and is all inclusive. After checking out the resort on Google Earth, I duly set off to book the hotel at our local Thomson travel agent. The hotel does seem quite popular, as I normally only book our holidays 3 weeks before we want to go, however I couldn't do this so ended up booking about 7 weeks in advance. Advantages: The largest swimming pool I have ever seen in my life

...I have just returned from a two week holiday to the 5* Hotel Lara Beach in Turkey. What a fabulous place. This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Turkey. ***The Resort*** The hotel is located in the resort of Lara Beach in Antalya. This is a relatively new resort which is noticeable by the lack of shops and facilities unless you go to the centre. The majority of hotels in the area are 5* but a large number of holiday apartments are in the process of being built. There does not appear to be many places to go out and eat but as the apartments are developed I am sure the facilities to go with them will arrive. There is a large shopping centre which has just been built but at the time of writing is not yet fully occupied. Advantages: Very friendly staff, amazing but amazing food
Disadvantages: not right off the beach

...Loved the hotel! Very friendly staff and high service quality. I stayed there for 6 days in June 2007 and was very satissfied. The room we stayed was clean and the food we had was amazing. The quality of the food was really hight. I highly recommend the hotel to the budget travelers. If you can not afford the all inclusive resorts, this is the hotel you should consider to stay. You get more than what you paid for. Lara is a very fast developing region in Antalya. It has nice beaches and beach clubs. The hotel is close to the Antalya city center but not right of the beach. They provide shuttle to the beach though. Overall my experience with this hotel was excellent.... Read review
