As an ardent lover of all things Parisien, I have visitied the city numerous times and found this hotel a few years ago. Since then I have returned to the hotel (which is now officially classified as a hostel) four or five times and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the city on a shoe-string.

First of all I will say that if you're looking for luxury in Paris, the Hotel Perfect(and so this review) will be of no use to you. However, if you're looking for a bit of Parisien hospitality coupled with a good location and excellent links, then read on! Floor space is at a huge premium in Paris, so to find such a well located, comfortable and clean place to stay, at such competitive prices, is really quite an achievement.

The Hostel room was the dirtiest and most basic we had experienced whilst travelling and we simply daren't visit the communal shower room! We used our sleeping bags as the sheets were dirty too.
On our last night we were due to leave early in the morning - about 4pm to catch an early train. We ...
Advantages: Friendly service. Disadvantages: Flies only within the Hawaiian islands and some states.
Earlier in the year, I had the opportunity to visit the islands of Hawaii. There, I flew between Oahu and the Big Island on Aloha airlines.
A short background
Small airline that service mainly the islands of Hawaii. Recently has started flights with several cities on the west coast of USA as well as Vancouver. Service several pacific islands such as Christmas islands, Johnston islands etc.

As usual, we arrived early at the check-in counter of the Aloha airline section of the Honolulu airport. Check-in process was very efficient and within minutes, we had our boarding passes. It was only then that I found out that seats are not allocated but passengers choose their seats on boarding on a first-come first-served basis. This, I found interesting because I never expected this in ...
