Aloha Sol Hotel, Santiago

Advantages: Always something to do!
Disadvantages: Can get busy at peak times!

HOTELS LA SIESTA, BITACORA, LAS CARDENES & PARK CRITODAL are directly opposite the Park Santiago but they don`t have any English staying there so I don`t know what goes on but they are new looking from the outside. HOTEL SOL is where we stayed and this fantastic 4 star hotel is to be recommended to all and the price is very reasonable as well with the time of year determining the price. The entertainment is great day and night, the swimming pools (3) are nice including a heated pool for the winter! The rooms are big and the staff friendly. the hotel located in the centre! There are about 90 hotels/apartments there altogether and if you check the orange map at the bottom of this review it show the location of everything. Advantages: Beautiful pool areas, dining, service, general look of the hotel. LUXURY.
Disadvantages: The area is somwhat loud and it's a little too expensive.

...The sol pelicanos is wonderful. Perfect for families as there is lots to do. The pool area is stunning, it features many pools and a bar. The pool area ia always busy but it's definately the hotel's strong point. There is also a pool especially for the kids. The staff are friendly and english speaking and the hotel in general is beautiful and luxurious. The food is also very nice and Sol Pelicanos provides wonderful gourmet buffets. Entertainment is also available every night. To stay in Sol Pelicanos it is quite expensive. However, it is one of the most luxurious hotels in the Levante beach area of Benidorm. It is situated in a fairly busy and loud area, but most of Benidorm is like that. MY advice is to not go to Benidorm if you are looking for culture, it's more for Brits looking for sun sea and sand. Advantages: Good food, brilliant entertainment, very close to all amenities.
Disadvantages: Not for people who enjoy the quieter holidays.

...Sol Trinidad is in the heart of Magaluf in majorca. Like most Sol hotels in caters for the whole family. I personally found the entertainment fantastic, and the hotel had such an enjoyable atmosphere all round. The rooms in which me and my family stayed in were spacious and lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite, and you were never stuck for something to do, whatever the weather might have been. The food was always nice, with a wide selection. There were different activities put on for the whole of the family every day, rifle shooting, archery, pool games, and other contests which you could really get into and enjoy. As an added bonus, the hotel is situated right in the town and a very short walk from the beach, everything you wanted for a lively family holiday.
