Advantages: Attendance, atmosphere, staff, facilities, friendliness. Disadvantages: The localization.
- Very good and clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Personalized attendance.
The owners are from Northern Italy and the name comes from the famous Venetian palace.
- It's trying to maintain its original European atmosphere but in some instances has
submitted to more modern aspects.
- Excellent restaurant, International cooking and Italian specialities. One of the best,
if not the best, is the Bollito Misto accompanied by Mostarda di Cremona. This a delicious variety of boiled meats carved and served at the table, plus vegetables and the Cremona Mustard (which has almost nothing related to our common mustard) a hot condiment/dressing.
- The installations and facilities make it such that one can spend quite a few days there without needing to go out.
- I don't quite appreciate its location, near downtown, not very advisable ...
Advantages: Very comfortable beds Disadvantages: Location, Poor room service
I wondered where the taxi was taking me on my way from the airport to the hotel. The area seemed to get worse as we went on and I was really surprised when I saw the hotel. The entrance on the website looks very impressive, the reality is very different( see photo).

There were a few supermarkets, a bakery and a take away pizza place, but hardly any cafes nearby. There was traffic noise during the morning and evening rush hours.
There was a 10-15 minute walk to what I would term the normal tourist areas with shops, cafes ...
Advantages: Friendly service. Disadvantages: Flies only within the Hawaiian islands and some states.
to visit it during the short flights. But I'm sure there were a couple in the plane!
The take-off and landing was reasonable smooth. The flight was punctual both ways. Nothing to complain about.

I bought my tickets as a holiday package from expedia.com which included return airfares from Oahu, car rental and accommodation. It came to around 640 US dollars for 2 people.
It is worth checking hotel websites on the Big island because they usually have very competitive deals with the domestic airlines and car rental companies.
Aloha airline also sells something call a 7-day Island pass. I believe it is the equivalent of a 7-day Eurorail pass. With this pass, you could have unlimited travel with Aloha airlines within the islands of Hawaii for around 340 US dollars (including tax). Personally I think this is a pretty good ...
