The first time I used Alpharooms was via a friend recommendation, and I haven't looked back!
I prefer to book my flights and accomodation separately as more often than not this proves to be the most economical method for me, and have always found that Alpharooms offer great value for money hotels and apartments in a range of prices (99% of the time I have found these to be cheaper that the mainstream alternatives) and 'star' rating, together with a quick, easy and friendly service.
As with other travel agent sites, they display their results in a list format, and you can sort by price, start rating etc.
Everything is done via email, and you recieve an 'Accomodation Voucher' which is used as your confirmation when you arrive at your hotel.
Easy to negotiate website, and very user friendly - would definitely recommend!
