Advantages: Great shops, clubs & public transport Disadvantages: err . . . none that I can think of
...Glasgow, or as some peopple know it, Glasgee, is the best city in scotland for architecture. It won an award for the best architectured city in scotland in 1999.
The public transport in Glasgow is great. You have an underground, which allows you to go to almost anywhere in glasgow, an excellent train service going to loads of places across the UK, and a very good bus service as well.
Of course, Glasgow is also home of both Rangers and Celtic FC, sctotlands best known footie teams.
Glasgow has some great museums, clubs and bars as well. And some great theatres and cinemas.
The best part of Glasgow (in my opinion) is the shops! There are literally hundreds of shops in glasgow, and quite a few shopping centres, including Buchanan Galleries, which houses a large Marks + Spencer shop and loads more shops as well.

Advantages: brilliant city Disadvantages: a little dirty
...I have lived in glasgow for 15 years now and can honestly say it is one of the nicest towns if not the nicest town in britain. how can i make this judgement?, you may ask, well after travelling all over britain i feel i can comment on the state of their towns. Glasgow has it all, the nice people, the nice buildings, the public transport, and the nightlife. Anyone who has been a glasgow night club can tell you that the atmosphere is always brilliant. In my mind glasgow is the capital of scotland because edinburgh is not even a patch on glasgow and her people. I cant comprehend why edinburgh is the capital because basically it is a dump....
