Advantages: loads of runs, this resort would keep anyone amused Disadvantages: limited unless you buy the slighty more expensive lift pass
...I've been on a lot of ski hloidays but i can honestly say that tignes was the best resort yet! Its a huge area with thousands of exiting runs. If you get the 'acess all areas pass then you can ski all over the area which gives you a lot of variety and you would be lucky to fit it all in in one holiday.
I stayed at tigne val claret but the area covers tigne la lac and all the other local valleys etc. If your lucky (like I was) you'll be staying in a hotel where you can ski right up to your door. This is great because you dont have to bother with any innoying buses or walking up hills to catch ski lifts!
I would recomend this resort to anybody snowboarders or skiers!...

Advantages: great snow, good for beginners to experts, plenty of snow, small compact town with a free bus fare to another 2 towns that are very nice and close Disadvantages: none what so ever unless you going skiing mid summer time and your find no snow
...My sister was working out there for a few months so my family and i went and stayed there back in March, for 4 times.
It was a very cold time of year but was gaurrented lots of snow.
We stayed in a hotel called la torre which was about 1 minute walk from the main gondola which took you up to the top of the mountain.
In the town there is a free bus that goes from tignes to val cloreh.
In tignes there are some small bars and resturants, lots of hotels and very close to the main ski slopes, easy access around the town.
And val cloreh is a bigger town with a large number of resturants, such as tex mex, curry houses, pizzas, anything that you could imagine is there. There are also clubs and bars which are lively and open most of the night.
Both towns have a wide range of shops, selling anything from clothes to skiis and snowboard and several...

Advantages: Good skiing, very big Disadvantages: Difficult if you dont speak French
...Broken legs, broken arms, bruises and knackerd legs. All part of the fun of skiing, so I feel that a good resort is imperitive to make up for the down sides.
Tigne is a very open resort with a huge amount of skiing when you get the Espace de Killey lift pass which allows you to ski over to Val'disere. As far as the slopes go they are tip top but probably won't challenge the absoloute die hard skier, although they are great fun. The lifts are a little old, so a little slow but nothing too bad.
The night life in the resort is unpredictable, but most definetly there and there are a vast amount of resteraunts, bars and shops to make use of. With different accomadation to suit all pockets its really worth a look. The Village Montana Hotel, a 3 star hotel, is very good. With a pool, sauna, steam rooms and jucuzzi is just what you need after...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
