Advantages: nice rooms, great bar and restaurant Disadvantages: quite pricey
...The white hart hotel is situated opposite Kingston bridge on the Hampton wick side of the river. The hotel opened in 2001 and is said to be 'the most attractive hotel in the Kinston area,' although it was only rated three stars by the English regional tourist board. From what I made of the hotel when I stayed there I would rate it at four stars. The rooms are furnished in an old style but to a high standard, there is a lovely secluded courtyard area at the rear of the hotel and there is free parking for guests. The car park is also situated at the rear of the hotel and is barrier operated, so you're car is relatively safe. At the front of the hotel there is a pub and restaurant, which is open daily both to guests and non-guests. These are traditional in style and offer some nice drinks and have an excellent food menu. There is a also...

Advantages: Location, price Disadvantages: Rather Icky
...The Green CourtHotel is situated on Hogarth Road, between the Earls Court and Cromwell Road. This location occasionally causes the Green Court to get over excited and claim it is based in Kensington. The Hotel is run by a man who looks suspiciously like the shopkeeper out of Mr Ben. It is a fascinating place to stay. Luggage arrives and leaves throughout the day, rarely accompanied by guests. At lunchtime most weekdays a man walks down the street from the chippy at Earls Court Road to eat his lunch on the Hotel steps before wandering off. This is reflected in the quite reasonable price. Rooms are basic but adequate. It is in easy walking distance of Earls Court and Olympia, along with The Natural History and Science Museum. This hotel is fine if you are with someone and are paying your own way. If your company books you...

Advantages: Close to Kingston nightlife Disadvantages: Noisy
...After a usual night out in Kingston me and my friends wanted an after party. We went to the Travelodge in Kingston.
It's very conveniently located - just by the red phone boxes. To be honest I didn't even know it was there until someone told me!
When we arrived about 2am we found it very easy to get a room. I was impressed that you could just turn up and no idea was needed to get a room- all I needed was my credit card.
I paid around £60 on a Friday night for a room with a double bed for me and my friend.
The reception area was very budgeted- nothing special but it was clean! The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They were also very security minded- they made sure me and my friend weren't too drunk to come in! The entrance door to the hotel is also locked, you can't just walk in and out without a member of staff...
