Advantages: Service standards, excellent staff, great chalet Disadvantages: none I can think of
...We have just returned from a week at the Chalet Montagnes with Simply Morzine. This is our second time with Simply Morzine, last year was at the Hotel Chaumiere. As before, we had a large group of 15, mixed adults and children (3 yrs - 9yrs).
The Chalet is just fantastic, just outside town, but within easy walk to Felix Ski, and the Pleney cablecar. What sets it aside from any other holiday we've been on is the level of service that is provided by Simply Morzine. They are outstanding in attention to detail, and no request is too much. From arrival at Geneva Airport, first night briefing and delivery of lift passes, picking up skis/boots, through shuttle to/from slopes every day, to the most amazing cooking from Tom, the top chef. We couldn't fault a thing.
The phrase of the week was 'millionaire lifestyle'. Well done to Mike, Gareth...

Advantages: location, food, quality of accomodation, friendliness of staff Disadvantages: none
...What a fabulous place!
When I saw this place on the web site www.thefarmhouse.co.uk it looked quaint and romantic, but the web site cannot do it justice!
We were collected from Geneva Airport in a smart minibus with a really friendly, chatty driver - Harry. The hour and 15 minute drive to Morzine passed quickly as he gave us tips on where best to ski and where the biggest lift queues were likely to be.
Morzine was just a described, a lovely picturesque place, completely unlike some of the high rise type of resorts that we had previously visited in France. When we got to The Farmhouse, our initial thought was "This looks a bit old" which of course - it is as we found out, it is the oldest building in the village.
Old certainly didn't mean grotty though. Our first impression when we walked in to The Farmhouse was simply - wow...

Advantages: good snow, big ski area, pretty Disadvantages: Fairly quiet, not a lot of shops.
...Chevannes", and is a winter wonderland. Slighlty lower mountains, sunny, a bubble gondola to get you up there as well as chairlifts, and a massive ski area that links superbly with Morzine and even on to Avoriaz.
Some great nursery slopes and lovely green (easy) runs, though some of the greens were a bit short back to the village. Once you are in the mountains, superb blues and reds (medium) and lots of them too. A good selection of mountain restaurants, and lots of lovely scenery and lakes to ski past.
A good place for the family, there is a free bus to Morzine, and it is a safe village to be in.
It is France, so the Ecole du ski (ski school) can be a bit of a mixed bag, if you don't get an English speaking instructor have a moan about it, and they sort it out. Equipment is easy to hire, and if anything a little cheaper than the brochures...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
