...If you are going to Paris at all you must visit this wonderful place. Although you are packed in with crowds of other tourists, it is well worth it. It is absolutely spectacular inside and outside. One of the main features for me was the Hall of Mirrors. Definitely a sight worth seeing. Together with the fantastic gardens and Nepoleon's apartments you could not fail to be impressed. It is absolutely astounding - magnificent. The royals really did live in splendour at the time, easy to see though why the French rebelled against this. If you get the chance to visit, it's worth putting up with the other tourists.... ...Go to the Champs Elysees! You will love it. I went ast year for the first time and I plan to go every year for the rest of my life. Paris is wonderful but it is the Champs Elysees that makes it so good. The shops are great, street cafes are wonderful (good for a nosy), the street is immaculate (they clean it night and day). If you can, stay at the Hotel California just off the Champs on Rue de Berri. It is an art gallery and hotel in one and is truly luxurious. If you have a Royalties Account with the Royal Bank of Scotland, you can get 50% off this hotel and many others. The Arc de Triomphe is really what it is all about. I cannot begin to explain how impressed you will be with this incredible monument. I will never forget the first time I saw it - I was awestruck and quite moved by it's splendor. ..., Graphic art I love going to this museum as I am particularly fond of Antiques especially the Egyptian and the oriental one’s. Moreover that the Sculpture department is tremendous. I also like to promenade in the Carousel du Louvre, as the stores in it are beautiful. You also can eat in a huge restaurant where world- wide cooking is served. You can indeed find different foreign neighbourhood like the Asian one , the Indian one or the African one. But the neighbourhood are not only influenced by countries but also by some French regions are even by religion. It’s really pleasant and disorientating to stroll... Read review
