Amadores Beach, Gran Canaria

We usually like to try a new place every year for our summer holidays but this year we decided to return to the resort of Puerto Rico on the island of Gran Canaria after staying there last year. One of the main reasons for the return was the fact that we loved the apartments we had stayed in last year and the other main reason was for the wonderful Amadores Beach. Amadores beach, is located in Playa Amadores in Gran Canaria. Playa Amadores is quite a new resort, just a 20 minute walk along the cliffs from Puerto Rico, which is one of the more popular places to stay in Gran Canaria. We stayed at the Mirador del Atlantico in Playa Amadore, which I have to say was a lovely hotel. The hotel is located on the side of a cliff, not too high up its too steep and tiring to walk down, but high up enough to get an amazing view of the whole resort of Playa Amadores.
