I stayed here for a night while I was travelling on the Kalambaka-Delphi-Olympia route. I have also stayed in Hotel Amalia Kalambaka and Hotel Amalia Olympia.

Hotel Amalia Delphi belongs to the Amalia Group of hotels in Greece and their main target is bus tour groups. Places like Kalambaka, Delphi and Olympia do not have convenient public transport serving them thus tourists most likely have to join bus tours.

Delphi is a small town which can be easily covered by foot. The historical site of Delphi is also easily accessible from Hotel Amalia Delphi.

The hotel is rated as 4-star but mostly likely because of the swimming pool. Bus tours stay here as the small towns do not have other hotels which have over 100 rooms.

Hotel Amalia Delphi is situated on a slope and overlooks the Corinthian Gulf. The nicest view from the hotel would be the balcony outside the lobby.

There are a few souvenir shops in the hotel itself and the reception also sells postcards, keychains etc.

Rooms are basic and they are ok for a night's stay. They provide basic toiletries and towels. There is also hairdryer in the room. The beds are comfortable and shower strong enough. There is no tea/coffee making facility in the room and there is no kettle. This is standard for Greece hotels though.

We have buffet dinner and buffet breakfast included in our room rate. I believe most guests on bus tours would dine here too as there do not seem to be many restaurants in Delphi town itself. The buffet consists of a wide spread and there is plenty food for everyone. On the night of our stay, there are 5 bus tours so we had lots of people in the dining room. However, each group is given a specific time to come in so you don't have to push around to get your food.

Both hot and cold breakfast are being served. Staff are generally friendly and came around tables to serve coffee/tea. They also attended to our needs i.e. filling our water bottles for us.

There is no free internet in your room but there are a few computers in the computer room located near the lobby. You have to pay for using the internet which is quite expensive.

We left our luggage outside the room before breakfast and the porters transferred them to our bus for us. It's quite amazing how they manage to sort out luggage of 5 bus tours according to our room numbers and transfer them to our bus without mistakes.

This is a clean hotel and if you are looking for an ok place to stay for a night, this hotel offers comfortable bed and good meals. If you are looking to stay for a few more nights and warmer hotel, then there are a few hotels which are located right in the town itself which seem to be quite nice too.
