Advantages: Great Swimming Pool / 5* Service Disadvantages: Rooms a little tired
...style dinner complete with Cypriot dancing. Nice food, but expensive.
Rooms are large with huge balconies but are in need of updating. The Amathus markets itself as one of the leading hotels in the world but in my opinion the rooms are more 4 star than 5.
Our room faced towards the main road but the hotel is set back far enough so that you don't hear any noise from either the road or the bars near by.
Our flight was very early in the morning so having checked out of our original room by 12.00, the hotel offered us a courtesy room to freshen up in after returning from the pool, and then another courtesy room from 9PM onwards until we were picked up for our flight around 1 AM. Both rooms were sea facing and if I were to stay in the hotel again would probably pay the extra to enjoy the view.

Advantages: ONE OF THE TOP HOTELS IN THE WORLD, SO HIGHER THAN AVERAGE SERVICE, CLOSE TO SEA . Disadvantages: MAYBE ONLY THAT IT IS A BUS OR TAXI JOURNEY FROM THE MAIN TOWN OF LIMASSOL
...is expensive but with a 5 star rating and top quality service is value for money, prices are , quote , around april time about £600 for a 7 day stay on b&b or £900 on 14 days to high season around £800 for 7 days to £1300 for 14 days although these prices should only be used as a guide , i am sure that better prices can be obtained in special offers . 1st children vary in price from a low of £250 to just over £300 . The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools as well as the largest indoor swimming pool ,as well as a childrens pool. Also with its own fish tavern and a,la carte also gastronomic restuarent give good variety of choice for the hotel client. I would certainly recommend this Hotel and also the sister hotel The PaphosAmathusBeachHotel again a 5 star hotel , a recently built complex but with a first class reputation. The limassol...

Advantages: beautiful hotel and grounds, fantastic service, lots to do at the hotel Disadvantages: I prefer Paphos in Cyprus, to Limassol
...I stayed at the amathusbeachhotel a couple of years ago, and have to say that it really is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
The grounds and the hotel are beautiful. It has a seafront location and the staff could not do more to help you.
There was also a fun game we played called- spot the celebrity. There seemed to be quite a few c-listers about (your eastenders/ coronation street actors etc.) It was fun working out who these people were (they look very different without make up).
The rooms were beautiful and the indoor pool with it's marble pillars and streaming sunlight coming through the roof, are spectacular. The restaurants are magnificent too. The gym has everything you could possibly want in it (and is fully air conditioned as you would expect).
All in all- a fantastic holiday. I have heard...

I stayed at this hotel for one week in July 2005. It was brilliant. The hotel looked classy from the inside and out, and was only a short way from the shops and restaurants in Paphos.
