Ambassador East Motel, Las Vegas

Advantages: Luxurious rooms, dining, fountain show, service
Disadvantages: Check in and general bedm in reception.

...For me only the Bellagio would do once we had decided to visit Las Vegas as the second stop on our honeymoon just over two years ago. The hotel featured in the Oceans' 11 film which I loved and I was particularly looking forward to seeing that famous water fountain show. The hotel is located roughly half way along the main Strip area in Vegas, it has an Italian theme and is beautiful to look at from the outside. It is set back from the street and the front of the building gently curves around "Lake Como". Providing it is not too windy, from 3pm in the afternoon the fountain show runs every fifteen minutes making for excellent photo opportunities and selling lots of postcards. Advantages: Something new to explore..you can be in Paris and Las Vegas at the same time!
Disadvantages: A bit pricy for some, you need more than two weeks to see everything!

... First . . . Las Vegas . . . and the strip One of the magnificent trips that I will never forget was my recent visit to the city of lights and entertainment - Las Vegas! It is the most densely inhabited city in the United States of America. Las Vegas is known for its gambling places and games; for unusually shaped large hotels, casinos, restaurants, resorts, properties and spacious houses. Most of the first class hotels, casinos and entertainments are laid out over a mere 3.8 miles. The most extraordinary hotel I have ever seen was the Paris Hotel . . . in Las Vegas! It’s not only a hotel . . . it’s like an amusement city! This hotel was arranged, decorated and designed just as if a slice of Paris had been pulled out and put down in Las Vegas! Advantages: Vibrant, diverse, unique
Disadvantages: possible to lose all your money very fast

...on my share of rides. The whole city is built around extremes, extremely rich people, extremely beautiful women, an extremely vibrant atmosphere 24 hours a day, and an extremely large amount of ways to misbehave yourself, but it is definately possible to visit as an interested tourist to enjoy the sights rather than as a gambling hustler or someone intending to marry someone quickly. With the Hoover Dam and world-famous Grand Canyon no more than a coach trip away there are more reasons to visit than the flashing lights. I strongly reccomend everyone should visit Las Vegas at least once, it is truly unique, completely individual, and offers the experience of a lifetime whatever you are looking for in a trip to Nevada....
