Advantages: Location Disadvantages: Customer Service
The hotel itself is well appointed and the rooms we saw were clean and spacious. There was a substantial choice of breakfast options available all of good quality. This is also one of the best locations in the city being only a few minutes stroll from most attractions and amenities.
Our Booking was for a suite with a double bed however when we arrived we were shown to a room with 3 single beds in it. When I politely complained I was told by 2 members ... ...that I had not in fact booked a double. Luckily I had kept the original booking form with me and could prove my reservation. At that point a double room mysteriously became available although it was of inferior quality to the room we were originally allocated, being smaller and lacking air conditioning. At no point did I receive an apology for the error.
Overall, while the staff were quietly efficient they seemed to take no pride in the quality ...
