If you want to go shopping Zürich or Luzern are a good tip. Two big cities in Switzerland (Big in Switzerland, so you probably think they are rather small). Winter: Hmmm...what would I do in Switzerland in Winter? Go Skiing is of course the answer! Advantages: Clean, Easy to ger around
Disadvantages: Dangerous parts of city

...This city, San Fransisco, i fell in love with as soon as the plane touched the ground. the place has so much beasty and there is a wealth that is just unbeleiveable. Most of the places there rent for around 3k a month. The city is very densily poplulated and parking can be a hastle - it is best to live outside the city and commute there to see things. The rail and bus system there is excelling. Then there is the bart which goes underground. This is a neat feature that saves a lot of time and it fun to go on. The shopping in the city is very good, there are many shops along market street selling any kind of thing that you can think of and the prices are very reasonable, just like all prices in america. Advantages: Nightlife and family activity

...Bristol is the city of England for the next millenium. it has historical presence in the SS Great Britain, the first steel ship, and the Matthew, the ship that discovered America. The renovaed town centre provides easy, safe public access and beauty in the water front. The nightlife is superb with the amount of pubs, clubs and bars; especially on whiteladies road. The newly installed @ Bristol centre provides the city with a centre point for discovery and is a great day out for the whole family, not to mention the imax theatre, belonging to only a few cities in England or the world. However, if you do visit Bristol, the one thing not to miss out on is the docks-tour on the local ferries: superb.... Read review
