Advantages:	hmmmmm, nope I dont think there are any .  Oh American hospitality, probaly the nicest people in the world !

Because of a certain person in my family working for British Airways I generally get very cheap flights, but the thing is I want to get to Raleigh, NC, I have to get a transfer flight from JFK (New York Airport) to RDU (Raleigh Airport). And if I want a cheap trasnfer flight I have to use British Airways' American partner airline American Airlines.

Now this is all well and good, I mean we've all seen the adverts showing more leg room in economy, friendliar service etc. but the thing is American Airlines isn't just the big old Boeing 737 they have a little sort of add on company that is used to do domestic flights ie: to Raleigh.

So when I got to JFK and made my way to the check in desk I was still happy with my flying arrangements, then I got to the gate and realised there were only about 20 people ready to get on the flight. I thought "Well this looks promising, I might get uprgraded to business class" but i was very much mistaken. I mean I probably would have been up graded, IF THERE WAS MORE THAN ONE CABIN!!!

I got up and took my ticket to the little guy and he said yes thats great, get on the plane. So I made my way out and to my horror I saw a 30 seater, propellor driven aircraft! I got on and minded my head on all the low furnishing. I squeezed my way to my seat and sat down.

Now I would have been quite happy, if i had thought this was gonna be a safe flight, but then I heard it. When the propellors need to get going the electiricty sort of "powers down" and you get that diminishing BBBBBZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz sort of noise. Not to promising.

During the flight I was offered one drink, from the one member of staff that was there, so I guess things were looking up, but then there was that bbbbzzzzzzzzzz noise and I began to get quite scared!

But the flight was, however noisy, quite good, but I would try to avoid it next time.
