I have gathered approximately 15,000 AA miles and I could not work out what to do with them. Typically I could have used them for travelling on British Midland for a free flight but it was just not going to be worth it.
The only reccomendation to do with these is to pool them together with other frequent flyer programmes and use with other points on just one account. To do this transfer the points to the Hilton Honours programme along with any batches of 5,000 miles from continental, TWA or united amongst the few that can be trated in this way.
