Just spent 3 days in London staying at the Americana Hotel in a twin room. Not the largest room but as we did not spend much time there other than for sleeping this was not a problem. The room had plenty of storage space and was lovely and warm and secondary glazing meant that the room was fairly quiet even though it was on the main road. The hotel has recently been refurbished and was quite well fitted although the carpets and bedspreads were rather grubby. However the other bedlinen and the towels were spotless and the towels were changed daily. Breakfast is served between 7.30 & 9.30 each day though earlier breakfast is available by arrangement. There was a good choice of fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast or bread rolls with meat, cheese or hard boiled eggs and juice or hot drinks. Check out hotel websites before booking - we paid £188 for 3 nights, but some sites were offering the hotel price of £345 (£115 per night ). Don't think it's worth this but if you can get a lower price definitely good value.

A great start but for higher ratings you need to tell us more. That way anyone thinking of staying here would know whether it would be for them or not. My advice is read a few hotel reviews and you'll see what you need to say to get higher ratings. If you edit this in anyway let me know via my guestbook and I'll come back and re-read it. Welcome to Ciao, I hope you enjoy it here.

Welcome to Ciao - Your review needs a lot more information and detail for you to get a higher rating. I find it useful to read and rate some other peoples reviews as it might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. xx
