ARRIVALS
The airport is not particularly large, but has several air bridges and most flights will park at the terminal so you just walk off the plane, onto the jetway and into the building. Being quite small, there is not long to walk to passport control.
Passport and Visa
There are about six passport control booths; ... ...part was trouble free.
Amman airport is about thirty minutes drive from the city, even at night it takes 20-25 minutes. The road is good, and overall it is nor an unpleasant ride, as long as there are not too many other cars around, the driving standards are not the best!
DEPARTURES
I've flown out of Amman twice recently and, sorry to say, both times the departures process was unnecessarily painful, stressful, and very unpleasant.
