Black & White Advantages: Makes you think, gives you power Disadvantages: It gets boring after a while Black & White is an RPG type game. The idea is that you are God, you are all powerful. You build up your village by building houses for the villagers to live in. I like it because it has a good conscience and a bad conscience. Sometimes you are faced with a situation where it would take longer to complete a task but it would be better in the long run or vice versa. Very good beef. Advantages: Plenty of room and open kitchen. Disadvantages: Cant think of any. Open for lunch and dinner.Choose the weight and type of steak you want.There are chicken, ribs and a few other things on the menu. Reasonable selection of good priced wine, mainly from Chile and Argentine. Clean and spaciouse dinning area. Toilets also clean, are downstairs , so not very suitable for custumers who have walking difficulties. As the kitchen is open at the side of the dinning area you can watch the chef at work. There seems to be a ... ...twice! Last time I had lunch, I went for the 350 gram fillet steak, cooked medium, which is the English equivilent of medium rear. To go with this a large baked spud with herb butter and a green salad and a fresh baked bread roll, again with herb butter.A bottle of Shiyra Fliehers 2000. Best Rijstafel in Amsterdam Advantages: delicious food, popular with locals Disadvantages: none that I can think of Kantjil en de Tijger (which is the correct spelling, not "Kantijl" as listed) is situated on Spuistraat (291-293) in central Amsterdam. We were keen to try the "rijstafel" that all the guidebooks seemed to recommend in Amsterdam, but were a little bewildered by the huge number of restaurants offering this Indonesian speciality. We asked the receptionist in our hotel for advice, and she recommended Kantjil.
