Millor was really good, serving unbelievable steaks, sold by the Kilo, and great wines, a real spanish treat.
There is a kentucky Fried chicken and a burger king in town if you must.
CalaMillor makes a great base to visit all the resorts on this coast, car hire is best done from the airport. Esterallas gave me the best deal, I paid 170 euro's for the week, transfer by taxi from the airport to this resort would have cost me about 70 euro'seach way.
We arranged for an all inclusive week off the teletext, via a company allied to the co-op, flights and accomodation they booked seperately thus it was not as such a package. Booking via an ABTA company should have, in my opinion, offered some degree of compatability between the hotel and the British market, which,in my opinion, it did not. Advantages: Hotel staff, all inclusive, close to the beach, nice pools. Disadvantages: Limited activities in the town, repetitive & oily food sometimes
My partner and I have been to Club CalaRomani twice now and we would definitely recommend it for a cheap all inclusive holiday!
The hotel itself is very nice: very clean & well presented. The rooms are a little basic (but this never bothers us because we don't spend much time in them!) but clean and sufficient. The staff are very friendly and are fantastic if you've got children. The pools are lovely but very, very cold! The drinks are brilliant - made quite strong though at times - they put a LOT of spirits in, which were sometimes too strong for me. The food is fine, but there isn't a lot of variety from day to day and is sometimes cooked in a lot of oil. While I am not vegetarian, I don't really eat a lot of meat and I found that many of the dishes contained meat - which my partner really enjoyed however. There was pizza ...

CHEERS Bar is situated on Son Corp 20 in CalaMillor (a few hundred yards up from Burger King).
We discovered CHEERS in 1999 as it was the location of our holiday welcome meeting. We were impressed with what we saw and decided to return later that day for a meal and have never looked back since!
We were immediately impressed with the large and varied menu, good prices (roughly btn ?6-?10 for a main course), friendly waiting staff and delicious freshly prepared home cooked meals courtesy of Kev Holmes (the owner) - there's no frozen rubbish here of that I can assure you!
The quality of the food & friendly atmosphere has never dwindled in the years we have returned to CHEERS (2002, 2004 & 2005) and I can say hand on heart that we have NEVER had a bad meal there! Others must agree as it has a HUGE following of repeat tourists ...
