Advantages: Cheap, friendly and everything you need! Disadvantages: You will not want to leave.
Ko Lanta is a little bit of heaven on the west coast of Thailand. A great alternative to Phi Phi or some of the more tourist filled islands in thailand. If you want paradise then this is the place.
I reccommend this hotel too. It's not the fanciest of Hotels compared to some along the beach but it had all we needed. 7 of us in total were on the holiday and we stayed for 3 nights. There were 5 adults varying in ages, 1 teenager and 1 child age 6. Plenty of places to eat nearby, one in particular just next door to the hotel - fabulous food. The food in the Andaman was good also. Very family friendly hotel, with a pool on site. You just have to remember that this isn't a Europena hotel with lots of activities on site. But then again, we didn't want that. I often find that they get in the way of enjoying a quiet day by the pool ...
Advantages: Clean with all the amenities and wonderful selection at breakfast Disadvantages: bugs in wooden hut bungalows
We stayed at club andaman in March 2008 for our honeymoon.
It is a lovely resort with friendly staff and all the amenities which you would expect of a resort like this. The breakfast buffet was extensive with fresh and tasty food every morning and also served evening meals with a different theme being offered every night ( I advise thursdays which is seafood night). The two swimiing pools are large and were always very clean.
It is right on the main tourist strip opposite patong beach and i really advise you watch the sunset which is beautiful. There are many pubs and restaurnats right outside the hotel and i would reccomend Rock City for music lovers as the food is modern and western, fresh and cheap.
As it was our honeymoon we were upgraded from a balcony room which was very clean and spacious with beautiful rooms to a garden ...
Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games
INTRODUCTION
Our Nintendo Wii has been hibernating under our TV, gathering dust since shortly after Christmas. The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. However, we were intrigued by the promise and novelty of the new Wii MotionPlus gadget, and when Wii Sports Resort (WSR) ? essentially Wii Sports 2 ? was announced, it was immediately added to our Wish List. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since.
