Andaman Seaview Hotel, Phuket

Advantages: An excellent nights entertainment.
Disadvantages: You cant bring your camera to look back on those happy moments

...Phuket Fanta Sea is a must if you are visiting Phuket! We were collected from our hotel by minibus and brought there, you are given a buffet meal in a hugh palace like room. The food was lovely there with a large choice for the buffet which was included in the price except the drinks. You are given plenty of time to visit the surrounding areas shops etc and you can take an elephant ride also. The show was amazing it had acts from elephants and amazing trapese artists in glowing outfits. You have to hand in your camera before hand but you get it back later with only a short que. ...Part two of my Thailand adventure took the guise of 7 nights staying at the Phuket Arcadia Beach & Spa Resort, Karon Beach, Phuket Island. Located off the West Coast of the Thai mainland in the Andaman Sea. This was to be the beach bumming, working on my tan part of the trip. Well it didn’t exactly work out like this! We got hit with the start of the rainy season – though l was lead to believe the beginning of June shouldn’t be too bad for rain it wasn’t the case! From being in Bangkok, where the weather was blistering, Phuket whilst humid and warm rained and rained and rained! I though we were gonna have to call on Noah and his ark! We did get a couple of good days – though it rained at night! At first l was totally pee’d off – but soon started to think hey stuff it lm thousands... Read review

Advantages: It's got everything imaginable

...have a shop, 2 restaurants and a swimming pool. Our part of the hotel had 4 restaurants and 2 poolside bars, which served snacks throughout the day and evening. Also within the hotel was a tailors (Peter Boss), spa, beauty salon, nursery, doctor, tennis court, gift shop, aromatherapy centre, as well as lush tropical gardens to wander in. The staff at the hotel were extremely nice, friendly and polite, and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Anyway, that’s the hotel covered. Phuket is Thailand’s largest island, and is known as the ‘Pearl of the Andaman’ – which is so true! It is nestled in the Andaman Sea on Thailand’s Indian Ocean coastline. It is approximately 870 kilometres south of Bangkok. We flew from Bangkok to Phuket with Thai Airways, and what a pleasure it was. The flight was on time... Read review
