On the first day we arrived here, the customer service was good - we were seen to immediately HOWEVER we were told the hotel was full booked? We were then told there was a room in a hotel nearby called 'Nicholas Apartments' (My boyfriend and I had stayed here previously together and it is a cheaper hotel) - We were not refunded the difference which was disappointing. We were also not given air con at Nicholas but we had it at Androthea (not fair).
When we arrived at Androthea on the second day, we waited at the reception for half an hour until somebody served us! We weren't told clearly where the room was so we spent a while trying to find it (running up and down stairs).Androthea has a TV in the room, free air con and it has a nice pool. When we first entered the room there was broken glass on the floor, the door itself was not very easy to open and bathroom was in desperate need of updating! The cooking facilities were more like stuff you would take camping! The bread bin was handy though.
There were families and groups of teenagers around the pool, it seems suitable for all types of customer - except I didn't see much disabled access other than a ramp to the reception (which is probably for wheely bags not wheelchairs).

I couldn't stay anywhere in Cyprus without air con-going there soon

Aim for the sea every time, pools are over-rated. And cockroaches go with the territory, a bit like earwigs or slugs in this country.
