I recently had to attend a conference in Annapolis, which is near baltimore, which is about 45 minutes for Washington DC.
The conference was being held in the Waterfront Marriott, and it seemed logical to stay in the same hotel, especially as i got a good rate of $146 per night.

I recently had to attend a conference in Annapolis, which is near baltimore, which is about 45 minutes for Washington DC.
The conference was being held in the Waterfront Marriott, and it seemed logical to stay in the same hotel, especially as i got a good rate of $146 per night.
All the amenities you would expect from a marriott were accounted for:
A good comfortable bed, with freshly pressed linen. ...good selection of shampoos and coffees and teas for the morning.
There was a mini-bar and fridge, so you could keep your stuff cool.
The service when phoning down to the desk was excellent, not that i had much need to,
The housekeeping staff were very helpful and did an excellent job cleaning my mess every morning. They would bring you extra things immediately if you asked for them.

The swimming pool, although small, was very pleasent. There was a gym and sauna, which were both well equipped and well maintained.
The room had large windows, with a nice view, so it was very light. There was an individual thermostat for controlling room conditions, and no noisy air-conditioner in sight!
I slept like a baby and had a great conference. The food served in both the bistro area, and sandwich bar was excellent and reasonably priced.
On the whole i would highly recommend this hotel.
The front desk staff were very friendly and courteous and i checked in and out very quickly with a minimum of fuss. They even provide free fruit on tables, and internet access to all rooms and some special computers. They even provide a printer so you can print a boarding card on your way to the airport.
All in, a great hotel at a reasonable rate, and all you would expect from a Marriott.
