Anno 1701 is a real time strategy game, the third in the series.
Story
The game is set in the 1800's and you have to build and maintain a colony in the New World., where you have to trade, defend and use diplomacy to survive and prosper in this New World.
Game play
You start of in the New World and you have to explore and colonise the world, finding the best areas to locate your colony. You have to expand your land whilst trading and defending them against the computer controlled opposition.
You have to farm, mine your raw materials and manufacture them to better products that you can sell to make a profit and expand your colony. You have to keep your citizens happy as well and try to bring in the tax to pay for your improvements, a lot of the game is building up your military to protect your colony.

I stayed here in September for 3 nights and this is my opinions of this hostel.
Location
We arrived into Stockholm at around 2pm from a train from Oslo. The hostel is within easy walking distance of the main train station. Although it is only a five or tem minute walk from the train station the directions we recieved from hostelworld were not the most clear and we ended up going the long way round to get to the hostel.
The hostel is located just off a busy shopping street and from the train station you need to go down a couple of levels of roads to get to the main street.
However things are a bit more complex if arriving by ferry or air and it is avisable to simply get a taxi from either to the main train station or the hostel itself.

I bought this game as i enjoyed very much Anno 1503. The game you start off on a small island and the purpose of the game is to colonize it and get a good system going on it.
If you have enjoyed playing Anno 1503, then this should be a very entertaining game for you. The graphics are much improved and there are more featured added to game play.
It is set in the 16th and 17th centuries. You get to take part more in depth in the game from natural disasters to protests and riots. There are sub quests to take part in (over 100). This game is multiplayer supportive for up to four players over LAN making it great entertainment in the family. Me and my brother enjoy playing this game together over LAN at home.
