...Anno 1701 is a real time strategy game, the third in the series. Story The game is set in the 1800's and you have to build and maintain a colony in the New World., where you have to trade, defend and use diplomacy to survive and prosper in this New World. Game play You start of in the New World and you have to explore and colonise the world, finding the best areas to locate your colony. You have to expand your land whilst trading and defending them against the computer controlled opposition. You have to farm, mine your raw materials and manufacture them to better products that you can sell to make a profit and expand your colony. You have to keep your citizens happy as well and try to bring in the tax to pay for your improvements, a lot of the game is building up your military to protect your colony. Learning... Read review

...I stayed here in September for 3 nights and this is my opinions of this hostel. Location We arrived into Stockholm at around 2pm from a train from Oslo. The hostel is within easy walking distance of the main train station. Although it is only a five or tem minute walk from the train station the directions we recieved from hostelworld were not the most clear and we ended up going the long way round to get to the hostel. The hostel is located just off a busy shopping street and from the train station you need to go down a couple of levels of roads to get to the main street. However things are a bit more complex if arriving by ferry or air and it is avisable to simply get a taxi from either to the main train station or the hostel itself. ...Anno 1701 is a strategy game for the Nintendo DS. The game is a sim type game, which relies on an isometric layout to show the country which you run and develop. In essence you control a population of people and have to please the Monarch by completing certain missions (there are fifteen missions), defending your country, attacking other countries and keeping your population happy. Keeping your population gets harder as they become more demanding and want more facilities, but you are able to charge them higher taxes then to help build up your empire. When building your properties, such as housing, entertainment, industry, defences, and so on, you have to work as you would in Sim City, by zoning the city in an efficient way so that supplies can be directed to the right place.
