Fabulous Five Star All Inclusive Luxury Advantages: The largest swimming pool I have ever seen in my life Disadvantages: You have to pay for your safety deposit box ...holiday to the 5* Hotel Lara Beach in Turkey. What a fabulous place. This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Turkey. *The Resort* The hotel is located in the resort of Lara Beach in Antalya. This is a relatively new resort which is noticeable by the lack of shops and facilities unless you go to the centre. The majority of hotels in the area are 5* but a large number of holiday apartments are in the process of being built. There does ... ...yet fully occupied. The Lara Beach Resort is only 20 minutes from Antalya airport/30 minutes from Antalya shopping centre. *The Hotel* On arrival at the hotel the journey up the long driveway is uninspiring as the area around the hotel has yet to be developed. The hotel itself is deceptive in its construction. Beautiful place Advantages: great food, great facilites, friendly staff, quiet, the weather beautiful Disadvantages: no entertainment, long walk down stairs to beach, hotel prices high i went to the sheraton voyager this august and i have to say it was beautiful, i loved it the staff were so friendly the rooms was well equiped and the facilities were excellent. The beach however was a walk down about 200 stairs which is fine going there but coming back when tempertures are 40 degrees is not so good, that was the only let down, also the beach itself was very uncomfortable to walk on as it is pebbled. Delphin Deluxe Resort - a little piece of paradise Advantages: The food is amazing, and the general atmostphere is really friendly. Rooms were very clean. Disadvantages: If you are looking for a big nightlife there isn't much in the area except the hotel club. I went to Delphin Deluxe Resort a few years ago, and I can firmly say that it has stuck in my memory. I had one of my best holidays here, and would definately recommend it to anyone. The hotel offers a lot for many different types of people. I was a teenager at the time of my visit, so I greatly took advantage of the very safe and entertaining hotel club as well as the many nightly activities to participate in - including a foam party! Absolutely Fantastic!!!!! Advantages: Luxurious, excellent staff, brilliant food Disadvantages: Arrival / departure times, lack of late checkout rooms, expensive but worth it ...from Bristol (where the defunct concorde now resides). Our other halves deferred to our choice (OMG!) but were sceptical. We booked via Thomas Cook to go in Mid-Sept to avoid school holidays. Before i talk about the hotel let me mention flights - they are late night flights we arrived at 4.30am Turkish time. By the time we got to the hotel and checked in it was about 5.30am. A quick look around the room, unpacking then down to look around the hotel, ... ...shape is based on the concorde aircraft - basically a v-shape. The "nose" of the aircraft looks out over the main pool - see picture. Details: The hotel has three pools, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor in the spa. There is a large pool as you can see in the picture and a smaller pool to the side of the main building. The smaller pool has 3 waterslides. Türk Tatil Advantages: very good hotel Disadvantages: we didn't find any ...Turkey is Antalya, the Hotel Barut Arum is in Side, a small town 60 km to the east (province of Antalya). As the transfer was not included in our arrangement, we had to take a taxi, at the taxi station there's a long list with destinations in the vicinity with fixed prices in Euro, our fare was 65 Euro. The Euro is the second currency in Turkey, so you have to change your money into Turkish Lira as well as Euro, you can do that in the airport while ... ...star hotel belonging to the Barut group, it's situated 3,5 km west of Side built on a slight mound.
