Manufacturer's product description
This neighborhood bakery with turn-of-the-20th-century wooden cabinets, marble-top tables, and cast-iron ovens is an institution. It serves the snacks that locals love -- and from which you can make an inexpensive meal. The big pan on the counter holds the delicious regional specialty pani cu' la meusa (boiled, sliced calf's spleen with Parmesan-like cacciocavallo cheese and salt). The squeamish can opt for the panelle (chickpea flour fritters), the fantastic fritto misto (assorted fried appetizers), or an enormous arancino (breaded, deep-fried ball of rice with tomato and meat or vegetable filling).
..., is second in beautifulness at Pompei ruins.
Near to the roman ruins, there is the old castle of pope Giulio II (XV century) and the old village with the Sant'Aurea church.

How you can reach Ostia Antica:
by train: metro B, Piramide station - and then train "Roma-Lido", Ostia Antica station.
by car: via del Mare (or via Ostiense), from Grande Raccordo Anulare or, from Rome, leaving from Porta San Paolo.
I really hope you can visit it: it is worth going there to see a piece of the ancient times....

...This summer I went on a holiday to Lake Garda. I expected a small lake covered in trees. I was wrong. I reached the shore and immediately found myself staring at a vast expanse of water. It was a brilliant sight.
The water is clean, I went swimming in it. The beach dips gently into the water. It was warmer than the Camping SanFrancesco swimming pool! The only piece of advice I can give is to wear sandals or shoes in the water - there are a lot of big rocks!
Prepare to do the following:
* Jump off the pier
* Go Swimming
* Snorkel
* Hire a pedalo for £5 per hour or £8 for 2 hours!...

Advantages: everything....beautiful scenery, gorgeous food + lovely people! Disadvantages: not much...Assisi can get very busy especially during Easter and mid-july
...Umbria is the most beautiful and varied region of Italy and each town is crammed with treasures and historical backgrounds (eg. St Benedict and St. Francis). Hill-towns feature quite prominently in Umbria- pinky-stoned, fascinating Assisi, the dark medieval streets of Perugia and the steep, delightful towns of Gubbio, Spello and Urbino. The unspoilt, gentle, lush countryside of Umbria is part of its charm. For example, the Piano Grande - a vast upland plain stretching for 40sqkm!
My review will be focused on the lovely medieval town of Assisi as this is my favourite Umbrian town and im constantly drawn back to it!
Assisi:
A series of earthquakes over the last few decades have severely damaged this medieval town and Assisi had to cope without its premiere sight - the Basilica di SanFrancesco! The Basilica's walls are covered...

Joe Satriani is considered by many as one of the greatest guitarists to have ever lived. He manages to combine technical brilliance with melody to produce some excellent and powerful songs. He plays a good rock song too.
