Advantages Wheels, expands

Disadvantages None

I do quite a bit of travelling and one of the essential items you need when you travel is a suitcase. I have a really nice medium size Antler suitcase which is perfect for just me, no having to share with the husband. I would say that this case is perfect for a weekend away just on its own as I do take quite a lot of stuff away with me and can be used as an additional case if you go away for longer. I bought the case from John Lewis and I think paid in the region of £75

The case is fairly boring looking, just basic black but that is all you really need with a case. The only problem you might experience with a black case is that 99.9% of other people also have black suitcases so if you check them on a flight and then look for them on the carousel it is sometimes hard to find them. I counter this by tying a coloured ribbon around the handle and including a name tag not he bag to make it easy to spot at airports. This case came with a little tag that you can write your name in. It then has a little bit of leather covering the name tag so it is not immediately visible but hangs on the side to enable you to identify it. The thing I like about this suitcase is that it is expandable so if you want to add that extra pair of shoes you can. The case has zips around it which when closed make the top of the bag quite flat but if you unzip these it adds an extra 10 litres of space on the top which is a really nice feature. I find sometimes if you have the case expanded all the way it sometimes is a bit top heavy and will not stand up perfectly but if you have it as the smaller size case the case stands up well and does not fall over at all.The case has a retractable handle at the top of it which is easy to lift up and down. There is a little button you press on the handle to enable you to pull it up and it goes back easily again. The handle is quite a nice height for me and is easy to pull. The handle has contours on it which fit in the hand nicely and make it easy to pull. There is another handle on the top of the case and one at the side and this makes it quite easy to lift if you hold the handles on both sides. This is a nice feature when you are trying to pull it off the airport carousel. I have had this bag for a couple of years now and apart from the odd scratch etc there are no rips or tears and I think this bag has held up really well. The bag is made of a tough fabric material and so you can really push and pull it to fit in all your clothes. The measurements of the case are:Dimensions: 64 x 41 x 24 (+5) cm; 25 X 16 x 9.5 (+2) inches
Weight: 3.7 kg.
Volume: 66 litres
