...I recently purchased a vanity bag from Oasis (fashion shop) and have found it really strong, stylish and useful, with excellent organiser capabilities. The bag is part of the Oasis luggage collection designed by Antler. At £30 the bag seems about average price, but was definitely the most stylish and had the most features. It fits in with the ethos of Oasis as being individual and fashionable. It is black and curved at the front, and is soft-sided but with a reinforced front. It is travel-bag sized, with two main sections. ...For my job I travel frequently (about once a month) with BA on their domestic routes, and have also travelled to France on holiday with them. The service and quality seems to be very consistent, so this opinion is based on experiences of dozens of flights. For their short routes, BA generally use a Boeing 737-400 or 737-500, the classic 80s short-haul airliner. The interiors of these tiny aircraft now look very dated, with worn leather seats and rickety bulkheads. Nontheless, the seats are very comfortable, with very generous leg room, and the 'ye olde' ambience is bearable on these very short flights. In my travels, I fly from Gatwick to Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester, and back again, and I've also flown with them to Nice. Advantages: A Smooth Operator - Quick, Efficient and ON TIME!!
Disadvantages: Flight times not accurate for short-haul!?

...In my vanity, and partly for convenience, I decided to hop on a VERY short haul flight between LHR and MAN - the usual business-class-necessity briefcase and suit was absent. I was purely along for the ride and the experience. And at the bargain price of £11.00 I was pleased. I booked online at FlyBmi.com and didn't expect much of the airline to be honest. But certainly got more than I expected for my £11.00 fare - a newspaper to keep me occupied, a hot coffee, and a bacon and omlette breakfast baguette!! Only problem was that the estimated transit time of 1 hour melted into 35mins! I had to gulp down my coffee, munch quickly on the breaky and then had a 25min wait in the airport carpark waiting for my lift! All a bit rushed!! The sedatory 4.5hr drive by car was probably a bit more MY STYLE!... Read review
