Advantages: Very affordable, friendly, knowledgeable staff, fabulous coaches Disadvantages: Limited destinations, especially in school holidays
...an onboard hostess serving you drinks AND snacks (sandwiches, hot dogs etc) and the single decker holidays will have 2 drivers that will act as your host/hostess. They don't tend to offer the snacks on the touring holidays though, just drinks. BEER IS AVAILABLE TOO!!!!!
Don't worry, if like I did, when you see the downstairs of the doubledecker. It is tiny and only fits about 10 people down there due to the fact that the drivers cab, loo and hostess equipment (tea and coffee making stuff etc) is also located there. ...Whilst travelling around Glasgow by bus is a relatively easy task with the buses frequent and the routes excellent, they really need to look at their old doubledecker buses that are still on the go some of them are a health hazard when you go into them, they smell old and foosty and by the time you actually arrive at your work your suit feels like it needs a good dry clean. Also with the high price of the fares it surely shouldnt take long to be able to afford to upgrade......
