The restaurant was very quaint and not overly busyapart from the first night we arrived. There was a barbeque on for only 12 Euros per head and the food was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast is a continental buffet style and costs just over 4 Euros and is available until 10am each day. There was a good selection of cold meats and cheeses as well as boiled eggs, croissants, butter, margarine, jams, a variety of fruit juices and tea and coffee as well as toast. If you want breakfast later than 10am you can order it as a plate of food although we always managed to go down before 10 so we didn?t experience the ?a la carte? breakfast. The lunch and dinner menu is very reasonably priced, e.g. you can get a burger and chips with salad for around 5 Euros ...

, which is absolutely amazing and available in over 20 different flavours. The factory and its museum/centre is accessible by a frequent bus service from a nearby S-Bahn. People aged 18 and under can make their own chocolate here (well, pour liquid chocolate into moulds and add things) which was quite fun, as well as buy chocolate for insanely cheap in the shop. I saw lots of people there buying trolley fulls of it for about 20 euros or so.

I really enjoyed my stay in and around Stuttgart, and would recommend it if you fancy a short city break, though I have no idea what any of the hotels are like.

If you have children I think there are more appropriate areas of London to stay in but it was otherwise, clean, comfortable and functional, a little overpriced but that was down to the central location.
My advice....go for the more modern hotel side rather than the apartments. ...
